Our hormones direct all functions of the body. As women and cyclical beings, our hormones fluctuate naturally during the day, during our cycles and during our whole lives as we pass through many transitions affecting our health, mood and wellbeing.
Women’s health has long been underresearched and misunderstood, our cyclical nature criticized and hormonal problems questioned and dismissed. But we are the reflections of nature and as her we go though our lives flowing like the waters of low and high tide and transitioning between the springs, summers, autumns and winters of our cycles and our lives. There are many more science and evidence based tools for us now to take care of our health and wellbeing. There is no one magical cure, but we no longer have to accept not feeling healthy, not having energy or not feeling right in our bodies as a “normal” thing that happens to all women.

The wonderful lady on the picture next to me is Dinah Rodriguez. She is the 96 year-old creator of Hormone Yoga Therapy. This truly inspiring (and tough :)) woman is a living testament to the power of her method. At 96 she still travels around the world, teaches yoga, demonstrating herself all the poses, and spreads her message about women’s health and wellbeing which can flourish at any age.
She created and tested the whole sequence over the period of more than 20 years and a scientific study conducted in Brasil accompanied the launch of the method. During this study women participants were tested for their hormonal levels before, during and after using the method for 3-4 months period with extraordinary results of symptom disappearance and optimization of hormonal levels. Various studies has since then confirmed the impacts of the method (see list at the end of the page).

Pregnancy, advanced endometriosis, breast cancer, advanced osteoporosis (which threatens to fracture bones), increased thyroid function, inflammation of the inner ear, heart problems or previous heart surgery, recent abdominal surgery or hysterectomy, large fibroids, or unspecified abdominal pain.

During 1 or 1,5 days (8 hours) you learn the entire sequence, which you can then practice anytime, meet other likeminded and empowered women and become a part of a community.

You can experiment with the effects of the exercise. The general rule is that more often you do it, better results you get. But you can adjust your own “dosage” based on your problems, symptoms, desire for improvement and time available.
Ability to exercise without any previous knowledge of yoga or this method
